If you are looking for a more private safari experience, travelling as a group on a budget or simply want to avoid the crowds, hiring a private guide is a great option. We offer private tours for individuals, couples or small groups.
You can choose to drive in your own vehicle and have our guide join you, or use our vehicle so you can sit back and enjoy the experience. Options include a full day or half day, catered or self-catered.
We can meet you at the Park entrance gates or collect you from St Lucia, Mtubatuba or Richards Bay.

For a relaxed day out, a safari into the iSimangaliso Wetland Park is a must. Combining beach and bushveld, this unique experience takes a drive through the Wetland Park to Cape Vidal. If the weather and tides are favourable there is the option to snorkel. Alternatively, simply enjoy some downtime on the beautiful sandy beach and dip your toes into the warm Indian Ocean.
Always wanted to see the Big 5? Then a safari into Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park is the perfect experience.
There is the option for self-catered or fully catered depending on your preference.

Shore Excursions
We welcome guests ashore when visiting via cruise ship into Richards Bay. Shore excursions can be tricky to ensure you get the most out of your time on land so we have planned our safaris to maximise your time but not compromise on the experience!
Our designated collection point is either the Port of Richards Bay or the Richards Bay Small Craft Harbour. We collect directly from the ships so no shuttles or transfers are required.
Day tour options include a visit to the nearby Big 5 game reserve Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, noted as the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa or exploring the diverse UNESCO World Heritage Site iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
For the iSimangaliso Wetland Park safaris you have the option of a full-day Land Safari or full-day Land and Boat Safari if you would like a unique safari experience combining time in the bushveld with a relaxing boat cruise on Lake St Lucia.
Both day tours include light breakfast and/or lunch (depending on the pick-up time), a selection of cool drinks, water and a snack box per person.
